I'm planning my own wedding for Sept. 2009 and I would like some tips. Advice from those married in Georgia are greatly appreciated - I'm looking for a venue to host both ceremony and reception. I have decided to have a small, informal wedding, about 50 people, considering a Friday evening. Any thoughts would help.
Thanks!
We were both born in Atlanta, but currently live in the Clayton County area, so we would like to find a venue in Fulton or Clayton county.

there's a mansion in lagrange ga called bellevue mansion and a lot of people get married there. it's a really really old restored mansion and looks like something from the civil war.

Marietta Ga. would be a lovely place. There are many restored southern plantation style inns and houses that people use all the times for weddings and receptions. There is one in particular right off the square that it is my dream to have my wedding there. Its white and so beautiful.
