I got ANOTHER QUESTION
I was going to work out more.. for the summer. Now that i have my calorie intake down pat.. im going to try 1500-1700 calories a day. Now im starting a new program in march.. how does this sound?
Mon:cycling (morning) Ab class(evening)
Tues: Bikini boot camp (evening)
wed:cycling(evening) cadio kickboxing(evening)
thur: Rest…
Frid: Cycling
Sat: rest and sunday: outdoor cycling
Now if i keep my intake at 1500 a day and burn maybe 300-400 on excersises will my body have loss of inchs or go into starvation mode?
any tips will help and to keep in mind im 144 and 5'8 thank you!!!!!:)
if i did my measurements right….hips: 36.5 and 32.5 waist…. all my "fat" is in my stomach.. the rest of me is skinny
From your height and weight given, you seem to be at a healthy weight (your BMI = 21.9, which is in the healthy range).
Why is it that you want to lose weight?
Is it fat that you are trying to get rid off, or is it something else?
What are your measurements (chest, waist and hips)?
Hope this helps, and to answer your question, no your body will not go into starvation mode, although the calorie intake with all that excercise is pushing it slighlty.
You may want to slightly increase your calorie intake.
Good luck!
OK so you need to lose weight from your abdomen area.
A good thing would be to incorporate some sit-ups into your excersice plan, that should do the trick, and stay off fatty foods, eat upto 70g of fat a day but that's it, no more.

it probably will go into starvation mode–check out shape magazine website, ivillage.com site–in their health\exercising sections they will tell you that at a certain point your body ends up shutting down and storing the fat that body produces because it's getting signals that your body is starving–they tell you ways of exercising that will help your body burn excess weight but keep muscle & tone

Most likely lost of inces and wont be starving as long as your doing those calories and you have 3 days that you rest that is a good routine
